Good bye PlayStation
Sony was once brilliant company. I had played thousand times with PlayStaion and PlayStaion 2. But when PlaySation 3 came out market, I didn’t buy it. You know why? It was too expensive and there was no game I’d lik to play. It is sad most well-know game platform is going to fade.
Sony looks very “westernized” company. But truth is that Sony is very old, typical Japanese company. Nobody took responsibility. Decision was always postponed. There are so called “NY mafia” in Sony HQ. They are Japanese but speak English fluently and love American management. They are good at cutting cost by reduce the stuff instead of thinking innovative product.
Mr. Kaz Hirai, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment is also in charge of business group that brings together Sony’s mobile electronics and personal computers. Since he became a president of Sony Computer Entertainment in November 2006, SCE never get enough profit from business. And what is worse is that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan now has 115 million dollar debt. Yes, a person who never get any profit from his company is now leading Sony’s most expected business unit. Sony’s misfortune is that nobody understood what product user need.
Sony, stop make believe and hard look at yourselves.
